Arrow Need Adobe Premiere / Matrox RTx2 Editor!

I am in need of someone who can edit HDV weddings using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 or CS4 and the Matrox RTx2. After years of trying to find the right fit working with people using Final Cut or Premiere without a Matrox card, etc., I've decided that it's just too much hassle and I really just need someone on the same platform as me. If you are interested and have the same setup, please email me with a link to your wedding work, your turnaround time and your rate requirements.

    Thank you!

    Hi Garry,

Thank you for contacting me. I guess I should have said something earlier, but we do want to keep it within the US. I sent stuff overseas before and just had a really hard time with lying about the contents/purpose of the package. But I wish you the best of luck and perhaps someone else here will need your services.

I know this is a REAL stupid question but what does the MATROX card do?

I use PP CS4 x64 but I have no idea about the card....

Ive been told my PC could handle HDV easy....

    Hi Doug,

    Never a stupid question

The biggest advantage of the Matrox card is speed. It handles a lot of the video processing - usually in realtime, which would otherwise need to be rendered. It also has a lot of 'built-in' effects and tools which are very useful. I use the Matrox color-correction over the Premier color-correction because it's just easier and tends to get me better results, faster.

    Key features of Matrox RT.X2

Matrox RT.X2 extends the capabilities of the Adobe CS4 software with many important benefits:

    Ha ...

I just discovered that you have to be careful how you write 4 : 2: 2 ... without the spaces it becomes a headbanging monkey

    Laura,

I would love the opportunity to help you out but I do all my editing on a Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q701 notebook, but I do use PP CS4 x64. I have also done some freelance editing for a "member" here but I'm not sure if he wants it known he farms out his editing.

If it weren't for the Matrox card, maybe I could be of service...
