We just moved to Sony simply because B & H had a massive sale on the Sony set. We needed new wireless mics and the Sony's cost literally half of the Sennheiser. Pretty easy business decision.

I've always used Sony lav's and the Sennheisers are something I wrestled with when I bought them and didn't trust my gut - just a comfort level thing, I personally just prefer the diversity of the Sony mics, but this still a great set for the right person, just not for me.

Which Sony mic's are you using? I have the G2's and they are worked. Would love a Lectrosonic lav set but I can't justify the cost.

Lectrosonics are a beast (physically) and imo not worth the extra dough - I had the Sony wireless the generation before this one and LOVED it! Should be here by tomorrow.
